Despite entering their first-ever continental campaign, Crystal Palace are learning at a rapid pace. Without star players like striker Jean-Philippe Mateta and wing-back Daniel MuƱoz, the London club left Dublin with a comfortable result that virtually guarantees them a spot in the Conference League qualifying rounds.
A further victory in their upcoming fixture against Finnish KuPS should be enough to seal direct passage to the knockout stages, particularly following a previous setback against Strasbourg.

This occasion offered a chance for several Palace's fringe players to impress. Christantus Uche, making only his second beginning after joining on loan from Getafe, notched the account with a clinical goal.
