"See this extensive accomplishment. Look at this genocide," one exclaims.

He smiles as he directs the recording device on himself and his companion fighters, their Rapid Support Forces insignia clearly shown: "The victims shall all die in this manner."

The men are exulting in a massacre that relief organizations believe killed more than two thousand people in the Sudan's city of the Darfur city during October.

An Urban Center Cut Off from the Globe

After maintaining the community under encirclement for approximately an extended period, from late summer the militia proceeded to strengthen its dominance and blockade the surviving civilian population.

Space-based imagery demonstrate that forces began to construct a enormous sand wall - a built-up dirt embankment - encircling the perimeter of al-Fashir, blocking access routes and preventing relief supplies.
