The Perfect Pokémon Legends: Z-A Super Form According to the Astrological Sign

This return of Super Forms in Pokémon Legends: Z-A has sparked immense excitement within the community. Starting with the one-by-one reveal of newcomers ahead of the game's launch, to trainers forming firm views on the full lineup of new Megas, there's a lot for enthusiasts to anticipate.

With many of the Mega Evolutions boasting unique appearances that emphasize their personalities, one thought naturally: How can link this with astrology? The following is inspired by a mix of vibes, common zodiac traits, and individual observations.

Aries – Mega Camerupt

Honestly, Houndoom was almost chosen for Aries, as they are the Mega Pokémon and astrological sign that evoke the greatest apprehension. However, a Super Houndoom appears as always angry, which doesn't match the Ram's energy, known for being playful, light-hearted, and spontaneous. That's why Aries far more similar to Super Camerupt, which only spews lava when angered. Remain on the friendly side of both and enjoy a powerful partner; if you cross them, be ready to face the consequences.

The Bull – Mega Heracross

Much like a loyal Bull, the reliable Heracross, both in its regular and Mega form, has assisted numerous players in Legends: Z-A. While dependable, each the creature and a Bull are also battle-oriented, and – whether it's their trainer or a firm belief – will defend their side to the end. The thing about Mega Heracross that reminds me most of my Taurus friends, though, is its unabashed passion for treats. Several previous official descriptions note their fondness for tasty sap and how it uses its appendage to collect it all, which is pure Taurus energy.

Gemini – Mega Medicham

Observe this total royalty. It's impossible to tell me this Pokémon is not the soul of every party, offering an endless stream of gossip to anyone who wish to listen. Much like an captivating, gregarious Twins, it's incredibly simple to envision Mega Medicham captivating an entire open area with their stories. Medicham’s official description also states its ability to foresee an opponent's next moves, which seems quite like a people-smart Gemini.

The Crab – Super Manectric

Cancer is widely regarded as the most sensitive member of the zodiac, a passionate sign known for frequently getting absorbed in their emotions. According to the official info, Mega Evolution fills the Pokémon with a “huge quantity of electricity, but it's excessive for this Pokémon to fully manage,” which sounds a lot like a typical Crab emotional outburst. This Pokémon is also known for its ability to make a thundercloud over its own self – and if there’s one thing a Cancer is likely to do, it’s rain on their good time.

The Lion – Mega Starmie

Oh, did you assume I was going to pick the lion Pokémon for the king of the stars? Aside from the reality that it would be much too obvious, The Lion is obviously Mega Starmie, the diva whose gams just went viral for being too glamorous (or horrifying, depending on your taste). Fans were captivated from the violet starfish, and that’s precisely the identical vibe a Leo offers to the scene. Starmie is also rumored to be transmitting radio waves from its red core out into space, and it’s typical of a Lion to be staging a show, albeit for aliens.

Virgo – Super Victreebel

The always-ready and constantly-worried Maiden is perfectly represented in Super Victreebel, the Super Form with constant acid reflux. The sign known for being charmingly judgmental is clearly mirrored throughout this Pokémon’s entire evolutionary chain, from a perpetually surprised face like a Virgo when you tell them you don’t have a 401(k), to its inverted visage that’s similar to the symbol a Virgo sends to the group chat when everyone says they want to “go with the flow” rather than creating a strategy.

Libra – Mega Audino

Observe this gentle, sensitive being, who employs the feelers on its auditory organs to tell how people are feeling by their heartbeat. Consistently compassionate – sometimes to a detriment – and striving to maintain the peace, there are numerous Scales who would likely appreciate Mega Audino’s skills. Though, to be frank, it would probably just cause them to stress even more about others.

Scorpio – Super Banette

Banette is a creature with a unexpectedly tragic backstory: Abandoned as a toy, it gained sentient through sheer resentment and swore retribution on its previous caretaker. Per the Pokédex, Super Evolution, “enhances its vindictiveness.” That seems precisely like several conversations I’ve had with my intense Scorpio friends. A Scorpion loves cosmic justice and retribution, making them the ideal pair with Mega Banette.

Sagittarius – Super Hawlucha

Both Super Hawlucha and Archers are always staging a show. As a Sagittarius personally, the amount of times I’ve referred to myself some version of a “silly small entertainer” is innumerable. The most flamboyant and most attention-seeking Super Form, its Pokédex entry even notes how it “poses to display its power.” I would do the very same thing if I had some kind of Mega evolved form, making Mega Hawlucha the most apt Archer match I can imagine.

The Goat – Super Absol

Did you know that a Super Absol has the power to foresee disasters ahead of time? That gives the identical vibe as a Goat, who often always think they’re right. Interestingly, much like a visionary Super Absol, they frequently are. It’s also the absolute first Super Form that players encounter in Legends: Z-A – typical of a Capricorn to join the beginning of the Super Form craze.

The Water Bearer – Super Chandelure

Detached air sign Aquarius is arguably the non-flame placement that is closest to a flame symbol – its sister sign is the Lion, and there are numerous memes about the Archer and Aquarius being chaotic accomplices. Super Chandelure's dual Spirit/Flame category matches seamlessly with this, and the Super Form's overall intimidating presence is also extremely Water Bearer. If you weren’t already persuaded, the Mega’s description says it “absorbs hatred and transforms it into power.” If that fails to exactly {encaps
