Vince Zampella, Has Died in a Los Angeles Car Crash
Vince Zampella, the mind behind the globally famous franchise Call of Duty, has passed away in a car accident in California aged 55.
Zampella's death was confirmed by Electronic Arts, which owns Respawn Entertainment, a game studio that he helped create.
The celebrated video game developer passed away following his vehicle was involved in a crash and caught fire on a highway in LA on this past Sunday, as reported by.
"This represents an unimaginable loss, and our deepest sympathies go to his family and friends, his family, and everyone impacted by his creative vision," an official with Electronic Arts said.
